R2R Training: Reliability and Environmental Testing

The only course that is fully independent is our ‘Introduction to Reliability and Testing’ course. R2R and S2T run the ‘Risk to Reliability’ course, and the subsequent 'Playing with reliability and environmental test’ course takes place in November 2009.

There has been a greater focus on quality and reliability over the last years. This is reflected in the increasing need to carry out quick tests to ensure quality by employing single tests (a drop test), or full tests (a drop test following a test program). The question is; what effective and efficient tests can we actually perform? Are there other ways to support the earlier risks?

The one-day course "Introduction to Reliability and Testing" provides the answers to these questions... and much more!

What makes this course so unique?

  • The course is presented independently and is not sponsored by suppliers or other stockholders.
  • The course begins with theoretical (Risk) analyses and does not start with (Reactive) testing.
  • Proactive thinking about risks leads to directional and effective testing later on.
  • This course is unique in that it provides a complete overview of all the tests. Hence, a broad starting point not only for beginners, but for specialists who wish to expand their horizons as well.

Our teaching philosophy is based on Cicero’s philosophy: learn by experience. This means that the course will consist of a laboratory test followed by theoretical applications. As is customary in practice, tests will be carried out (experienced) and experiences can be shared mutually.

The flexible design, 20 years training experience in this field, and participation in various working groups guarantee the success of the course.

Despite the fact that the course is not sponsored and we never accept more than 15 people per class, our low overhead and no-nonsense approach enables us to offer this course at a reasonable € 500 per person.  This includes tools, laboratory rentals, handouts, notebook, and lunch.
